The analytical agency "Turstat" published rating of the best beaches in Russia. The beaches were evaluated in the following categories: clean water, the comfort level of vacationers (the availability of amenities such as a toilet, shower, deck chairs), security (rescue service) and the opportunity to take a walk in the city.
Unfortunately, not a single Russian beach was included in the list of the best beaches in the world according to National Geographic.
10. Amber (Kaliningrad region)
The first holder of the “blue flag” in Russia - this award is given only to beaches that meet the highest quality standards. To make Yantarny one of the cleanest beaches in Russia, the administration had to work hard - there were sun umbrellas, toilets with sewage, water and lighting, a shower, and comfortable changing cabins. For the disabled, a special floor was built, thanks to which they can easily get to the water.
9. Ambassadorial litter (Baikal)
Shallow bay, fenced off from the cleanest lake in Russia with a sand spit. The water here is quiet and warms up to twenty degrees of heat in summer. The bottom of the bay is overgrown with algae, in which many fish live, including the famous embassy omul. There are many attractions near Posolsky, from the Baikal Nature Reserve to the shamanistic temple.
8. Shamorovsky (Azure Bay, Vladivostok)
Locals are quite skeptical about getting Shamorovsky beach in the top 10 best beaches in Russia - back in June, vacationers were "pleased" with the appearance of overflowing garbage containers, a dense layer of rotting seaweed in the sand and garbage bags floating in the waters. However, the administration set up a new rescue tower and hired workers to clean the beach.
7. Long spit (Yeisk district, Krasnodar Territory)
The natural monument of the Krasnodar Territory, something like a huge wedge, protruding into the Sea of Azov. The wedge is bordered by beaches of shell rock, and on the body of the wedge there are many freshwater lakes abundant in fish.
6. Curonian Spit (Forest, Kaliningrad region)
A unique nature reserve. Those who wish can plunge either into the salty waters of the Baltic Sea or into the fresh water of the Curonian lagoon. The beach near the village of Lesnoy is one of the most beautiful - wide, clean, there is a rental of sun loungers, and next to the promenade with numerous cafes.
5. Imeretinsky (Sochi)
Imeretinsky artificial origin, one of the best beaches in the resorts of the Black Sea coast of Russia. The beach is landscaped - there are sun loungers, umbrellas, a shower, a toilet, a rescue station with doctors. Nearby there are terraces where cafes, dance floors and sports facilities are located.
4. Sudzhuk Spit (Tsemess Bay, Novorossiysk)
Closed on all sides, the bay is famous for its clean and warm water in the summer. The beach is well equipped, there are showers, changing rooms, toilets. At the rental points you can get umbrellas, deck chairs and more. Car entry to the beach is prohibited, but parking is nearby.
3. Dzhemetsky (Anapa)
It is considered one of the cleanest beaches of the Black Sea in Russia. It has a gentle even slope, the depth is gradually gained, without cliffs and pits, and it is pleasant to walk along the white sandy bottom. The water warms up well, but due to the small current and wind it does not stagnate. Even garbage - the scourge of the beaches of the Black Sea coast - bypasses the beach in Dzhemete, as it is related to the base of the bay.
2. Golden (Feodosia, Crimea)
A huge sand strip of 15 km long and about 100 m wide is one of the best beaches in Russia, a favorite vacation spot for locals and tourists. The beach area is being actively landscaped, there are showers, toilets, rental points, and there are entertainment complexes nearby, including the famous Club 117 in Crimea.
1. Massandra (Yalta, Crimea)
And the first Crimean beach that earned the “blue flag” gets first place in the rating. The water here is wonderful - clean, clear, even despite the crowded life. The best beach of Yalta is divided into 6 zones, some of which are paid. In one of the sectors there are even reed bungalows where you can hide from the sun. All areas are equipped with dressing rooms, there are bars, showers, and a variety of activities are nearby - from water attractions to a shooting gallery.
